In 2011, it was recognized by Forbes as one of the 200 Best Performing companies in Asia Pacific with capitalization below USD 1 Billion. It ranked 43rd in the KPMG Shareholder Value Award Program in 2010. It is the only educational institution to be included in the Transparency Index for Corporate Governance (Minority Shareholders Watchdog Group).
Since its inception in 1986, HELP University has awarded many scholarships to encourage academically inclined Malaysian and international students who display leadership qualities to pursue tertiary education at its institutions. Many of the recipients have completed their courses and have embarked upon successful careers. The university welcomes both new and continuing students of merit to apply for scholarships and study awards.
